Cici spent years working at independent art studios, nonprofits, city-run arts organizations, galleries, and schools, as both an educator and programs manager. She loved working in spaces she cared deeply about, connecting with teachers, creating classes, and building community. But planning programs was an intricate puzzle that involved weeks of contacting teachers, confirming their availability, working with classroom spaces, analyzing fill rates of previous classes, trial and error, and lots of sticky notes.

She came home one day and said to Vitor, I know there’s a better way of doing this. What if there was a system that analyzed the previous successful classes and recommended what should go where, when, and for how long? Then it gave teachers access to those classes based on their availability…And that is when Vitor got to work.

With his experience working in IT, his passion for coding, and unbelievable ability to problem solve while creating clear and helpful systems, Tidy Teacher came to be!
